This is my grandma and grandpa skyping.
My grandpa is in the hospital. This effects me a lot… I spent most of my childhood with them as my parents went to work. My grandpa would walk me to school and to the park in the summer. My grandma would watch us bike around the neighborhood. Our weekend grocery shopping.. I have many memories with them. It makes me sad to realize that this is the end of my grandpas road. He’s on his last chapter of life and as my grandma looks at him sleeping on the hospital bed; I know she knows it also…
It’s been a while that I’ve cried; and I hate to admit that I have—- I have… And it’s helped. All we can hope for is the best. But I thought I’d let this memory sit here so I can look back on this.. I love my grandparents with all my heart. And I understand that sometimes you have to let go in order to grow…

These past 3 years have probably been the best 3 years years of my life. It wasn’t until 3 years ago that I started to really cherish my family and those who love me unconditionally.
Funerals give me a very mixed up feeling inside. I am sad but I am grateful for those that are still present in my life.
It’s crazy how life and death show themselves in my life today. My great grandmother may have passed away but my uncle is celebrating the new life of a new baby girl.
I guess.. well; I’m just grateful for my family. I am one of those lucky ones that have an amazing family and I do my best to never forget that.
